A companion of sorts. A teddy bear (I still have mine from when I was young), a rag-doll or a volleyball with a face painted on it.
Can be used for conversation practice, companionship but also I am sure can help getting the sales up - the possibilities are endless. Something damaged halfway up the mast? Throw Wilson up to take a look.
It must be very hard to manage all of the pressure, work load, diet and sleep, so it would be great to have a friendly face with you at all times.
